MIssion

STARBASE 2.0 combines STEM activities with a relationship-rich, school-based mentoring environment to help youth make the transition from elementary to middle school into high school. It extends the positive impact of STARBASE through a STEM coaching approach which increases students’ engagement in STEM.

Our Model

  • School-based after-school program that meets weekly for a total of 20 hours over 12-14 weeks

  • Students participate in STEM-focused activities each week

  • Weekly sessions also include team-building, goal-setting, and personal growth-related activities

  • STEM coaches help students understand practical applications of science, math & technology
